Were you looking for CADAR (Cambridgeshire Advanced Drivers and Riders)? Well, we are the same groups of friendly people with the same aims but we have changed our name. Please excuse the website while all of the information is changed over from CADAR to RoADARC.
RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders Cambridgeshire (RoADARC) are a friendly local group of RoSPA Advanced Drivers and Riders (RoADAR). Our aim is to reduce road accidents by encouraging an interest in road safety through improving driving standards, knowledge and skill.
We are committed to:
- Road safety
- Promoting the Police Systems of Car and Motorcycle Control
- Free training for members to improve their skills and prepare for the RoSPA Advanced Test if they wish
All training is FREE to members of the group and is provided by one of the group's qualified and carefully selected Advanced Driving or Riding Tutors. Every member is assigned one of the group's tutors for one-to-one tuition at mutually convenient times. You can have as many lessons as you need until you achieve Test Standard, although just a small number of lessons will improve your skills. You will feel much more confident about your driving or riding skills and will be much less likely to have an accident.
We have tutor coverage across Cambridgeshire, including the RoADARC home cities of Cambridge and Ely.
Please note that potential applicants for Membership of RoADARC who are drivers who earn, or intend to earn, their income from professional driving (e.g. taxi, lorry, van etc.) and require a RoSPA driving test as a condition of their employment are outside the remit of RoADARC for training. For advice on training these drivers should contact Amy Brant (RoSPA) on her Direct Dial Number (0121 2482127) or Email (email@example.com).
Annual membership is only £10, so download our membership form and join now!
