Cambridgeshire Advanced Drivers and Riders

16-17 May 2009 - BMF Show, Peterborough

This year CADAR branched out at the BMF show and we had our own stand at the British Motorcycle Federation show. The show, which attracts approximately 70,000 bikers over the two days was very successful and a number of new recruits were signed up.

Not only was CADAR a new face on the block, but our new promotional material and marquee could also be found there. The marquee was subject to a barrage of rain and howling wind, followed almost immediately by glorious sunshine.

The team of Peter Vasey, Guy Williams, Chris Curryer, Matt Coles and Tony Day, spoke to literally 100's of people over the two days and generated a lot of interest. We also teamed up once again with the Bikesafe stand and Steve Merrett to spread our catchment even wider.

As a result of this show, we will be affiliating our group to the BMF, so it looks like we will be heading for the tail end show too. if you fancy helping out, let us know.
