Cambridgeshire Advanced Drivers and Riders

May 2008 - BMF Show, Peterborough
CADAR teamed up with Bikesafe to promote better bike skills at this years British
Motorcycle Federation show at the Peterborough Showground. Europe's largest
outdoor show provided a fantastic venue for the groups first venture into major
bike shows. Approximately 70,000 people attend the show over the two days and
despite the gloomy Saturday weather, which is normal for the BMFshow,
the crowds were upbeat
and happy.
The main draw for the crowds was the appearance of one of Cambridgeshire Constabulary's new unmarked CBR Fireblades. There was however almost as much interest in the Bikesafe courses run by the Police and Cambridgeshire County Council in Sawston and Peterborough. Bikesafe is a good source of new associates for the group and the Bikesafe team were able to direct people to CADAR for advice on advanced riding skills.
